Boot camp workouts are on everyone’s radar. This style of training is intense, group-oriented and highly effective.

Though boot camp training participants in gyms and health clubs around the world are not subjected to the same rigors faced by soldiers at real boot camp, there are many similarities.

BENEFITS OF BOOT CAMP TRAINING

Engage in a boot camp style workout and you will immediately understand why our country’s troops are in such fantastic shape.

Boot camp workouts are centered on intense strength training and aerobic exercises. Participants engage in military-style drills, sprints, interval training and calisthenics like push-ups, pull-ups, crunches and lunges.

This fitness program has reached a tipping point partially because it offers a highly organized means of exercising. This type of exercise regimen:

  • Has clear start and end points
  • Provides participants with realistic goals
  • Measures results in a concrete manner
  • And offfers a group-oriented atmosphere that enhances participants’ motivation

TRIBE TEAM TRAINING

The Amarillo Town Club is proud to offer Tribe Team Training to all of our members. Don’t be intimidated! This style of training is not exactly the same as real boot camp, though.

Instead, it borrows the best elements from boot camp for a group training system that helps participants:

  • Lose weight
  • Feel more energetic
  • And strenghthen core muscles.

This is a proven fitness regimen that is enjoyed by people all over the world.

The beauty of Tribe Team Training is that you enjoy individualized attention from a coach. Each class consists of 6-10 people, allowing for nuanced training and advice that you don’t find in large group classes.

Training is split up into three programs:

  1. Tribe Fit
  2. Tribe Core
  3. Tribe Life

Participate in a Tribe workout and you will enjoy a communal atmosphere that motivates you to try your hardest. You’ll also have access to a knowledgeable fitness coach and a group of similar minded people who are looking to build strong and healthy bodies.

TRIBE will kick off at the ATC with demonstrations on January 10, 2017, followed by a trial week starting January 16. The first Tribe season kicks off on January 23.
