Enjoy the beautiful spring weather with a trip to the Amarillo Zoo. Spending a few hours seeing and learning about the over 88 species that live at the zoo and maybe try to catch one of their live animal shows. Take the whole family on a Monday for free admission.

This children’s museum and science center has activities planned for every day of the week. The center has an amazing variety of science exhibits including brain teasers, kinderstudio, explorerzone, space gallery, hunters of the sky and many, many more. You can also catch a show at the Space Theater, or visit on a Saturday to watch Saturday Science Live demonstrations.
3. SPORTS WORLD FAMILY FUN CENTER
This family fun center has something for everyone. You can try your hand at miniature golf, batting cages, and go carts, including a large and kiddy sized track. You can also grab a quick snack or spend sometime in the arcade room.
4. AMARILLO ROCK CLIMBING HOUSE
Test your skills at indoor rocking climbing at the Amarillo Rock Climbing House. Beginners can learn the basics of rock climbing, while more seasoned veterans can scale more challenging walls.
5. PALO DURO CANYON STATE PARK
For those families that love the outdoors, you can spend your spring break week camping or take a hiking day trip. Test out the Palo Duro Canyon zip line to experience amazing views of the canyon.
